Front Entrance

Amadeus Haus has been restored to its original 1902 beauty. Rich hardwood floors and woodwork welcome you when you enter.

The home features 10' ceilings with beautiful cove mouldings. The original stain glass window over the front door welcomes light into the hallway.

Restored original woodwork adds warmth and beauty to the main hallway and throughout the home.

The hallway takes you into the kitchen for an early morning coffee, to smells of breakfast baking, great conversation...

Many guests appreciate the decorating details.

Kitchen

B & B Guests are welcomed to Amadeus Haus by coming down the front hallway and into the kitchen to sign in.

Each morning guests are welcomed into the kitchen after 7:30 a.m. to get a cup of coffee or tea and sit if they want at the kitchen table for conversation.

Dorien enjoys her kitchen where she prepares the breakfast each morning.

Dining Room

The dining room features a warm historic wallpaper, handwoven rug and maple hardwood floors with red mahogoney inlaid.

Each morning guests enjoy a 2 course breakfast.

The dining room features many antiques including Dorien's china collection.

Breakfast includes a selection of cereals, daily baked bread, muffins, juice, coffee, tea and a warm entre.

Many guests have enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the beautifully decorated dining room.

A large mirror completes the fireplace mantel decor in the dining room.

During the winter of 2006, Bill replaced the modern gas insert with the restored original to the house 1927 electric fireplace.

Guest Sitting Area/Living Room

The living room features beautiful 1927 glass etched doors in the popular cornflower pattern.

Guests can enjoy the coziness of the livingroom during their stay at Amadeus Haus.

Daily newspapers, a collection of Stratford books, current and many previous years Festival Theatre Souvenier books are available for guest reading.

City of Stratford memoriabilia, pictures and books are displayed throughout the house.

The house has been decorated with historic colours, antiques, and items relating to the Stratford Festival Theatre's rich history.

Upper Hallway

The restored curved banister features carved wood details and adds beauty to the second floor guest room landing.
