Your Hosts
Dorien (pronounced "Doreen") Murray grew up on a dairy farm in the
Stratford area.
Dorien "retired" from her corporate career in May 2004
which had taken her across Canada and the United States working as a Business
Analyst specializing in workflow and business process analysis. In
her spare time she enjoys cooking, sewing, working part time
a local grocery store and completing short term contract
jobs in the off season. She enjoyed sewing the many coverlets, pillow
shams, pillows and various accessories for the Guest Rooms.
Bill Murray is a native of Stratford who is retired from a very active career in automotive plant management and customer service. His final years saw him travel across the United States, Mexico, United Kingdom and Japan. He is an avid wood worker and gardener which is evident in the meticulously kept lawns and flower beds. Guests enjoy Bill's attention to detail and workmanship through out Amadeus Haus; inside and out. Early in 2009 Bill obtained his B license and is enjoying being a school bus driver... every morning and in the off season the afternoon.
Riley is a 10 year old pure bred golden
retriever who loves having Bill around so that he can enjoy 3 walks a day.
He is thrilled to greet guests with a "retrieved" toy, big smile and "talk."
Monday is his day at Doggie Day Care or better known as his "Spa" day where he
gets to play with his friends and comes home after his bath and grooming.
